Stephanie Johnson

Stephanie has a deep appreciation for yoga and the transformative effects it’s had on her overall well-being and her path to sobriety.  Yoga, meditation and pranayama have helped her find a sense of calm, balance, and strength/health of the body, mind and spirit.  She believes that yoga can help every body, and is beneficial for those in recovery as it helps to detoxify the system and strengthen the body’s innate capacity to heal itself.  Stephanie has a passion for learning and a curiosity of life.  She is continuously deepening her studies and practice in yoga and self-development under the guidance of various world renowned teachers and healers.  She is currently apprenticing with internationally recognized breath worker and healer, Julia Mikk, studying breathing technique that assists in changing the way the nervous system functions, and the way the body is able to shift into parasympathetic (“rest, relax, you are safe”). Stephanie is also pursuing a master’s degree in Ayurveda (the Science of Life). In addition to yogaand being a student of life, Stephanie is also an outdoor enthusiast and world traveler.  She enjoys long distance cycling (favorite way to experience the world)mountain biking, hiking, running and snowboarding.
